Job Description:
We are partnering with our client, a well-known Housing Association based in London, to recruit a Director of Asset Investment and Fire Remediation. This is a newly created role responsible for leading strategic investment and enhancement of built assets across a diverse property portfolio, including fire safety remediation projects in occupied residential properties.
The Role
This role oversees asset investment and fire safety remedial works, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, sustainable, and well-managed. The director will also secure external funding, address latent defects, and meet key performance metrics related to asset investment, aligned with financial and carbon reduction goals.
Desired Skills
* A construction-related qualification, equivalent to a degree, ideally in fire remediation and project management.
* Experience managing large, complex construction projects and asset/capital services, preferably with a residential portfolio including high-risk buildings or those over 11m tall.
* Proven track record in fire safety and asset investment compliance, customer satisfaction, and regulatory adherence.
* Ability to analyze technical information and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience managing budgets, external funding, and supplier relationships.
* Resilience and leadership skills to guide teams through challenging environments, delivering results under scrutiny.
* Knowledge of carbon reduction and sustainable practices in property management is highly desirable.
