About the Role:
We are supporting a range of fantastic secondary schools across Southport who are looking for dedicated Art & DT Teachers. You'll be teaching across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 in some schools), delivering engaging lessons in areas such as:
* Fine Art, Sculpture, and Mixed Media.
* Resistant Materials, Product Design, Textiles or Graphics.
* Promoting creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills.
This is a full-time teaching role with competitive daily pay between £150 to £220, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Art and/or DT lessons.
* Encourage experimentation and imaginative thinking.
* Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Contribute to extracurricular creative clubs or events.
Must-Haves:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Art and/or DT in UK secondary schools.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Passion for inspiring creativity in students.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
