1. Position: Powered Access Engineer
2. Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.30pm (overtime paid at time and a half)

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for powered access equipment? Ready to take the next step in your career with a dynamic, growing team? My client is looking for a skilled Powered Access Engineer to join its Hailsham-based depot to help support its expanding fleet across multiple depots.
What you’ll do:
6. Be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), including scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
7. Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), ensuring the equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for action.
8. Be available to carry out mobile repairs.
What they’re looking for:
9. Proven experience in electrical and hydraulic fault finding.
10. Level 3 qualification in Land-Based Service Engineering, IMI, or C&G (or equivalent)
11. CAPS accreditation (or 5+ years relevant experience including mechanical background)
12. Fork truck or access engineering qualifications highly desirable
13. CAP & IPAF licenses (preferred)
14. Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)
15. Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
16. Calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail
17. A team player with excellent problem-solving skills
