Who are we looking for? We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on one of our esteemed clients’ premises. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues are adhering to their duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence. A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential Security Technologies Experience(CCTV, Access control etc) - essential Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards What are you going to do: Ensures maintenance of proper standards and adherence to security procedures Liaise with key stakeholders operating on site Ensures all shift requirements are appropriately manned, reporting dropped hours if/when they occur Monitors and reviews security arrangements and supervises projects Organises training courses for Security Operations personnel. (Is the lead instructor for all internal training) Reviews security officers’ record keeping/paperwork (e.g. alarm activations, building closing times, visitors and incident reports) Administers the security shift system allocating duties and controlling the departments' overtime to meet DBUK business requirements Collates the overtime, leave and sickness records and submits them to Human Resources Liaises with all external security agencies involved with providing services for the Maidenhead office Attends and participates in: monthly facilities meetings; ad-hoc project meetings; Ad-hoc local police; crime prevention association meetings Investigates any breaches of security Ensures that the CCTV recording under security Operations control is carried out in an appropriate manner (adhering to relevant legislation) Escorts alarm engineers when remedial work is being carried out From time to time, if manpower is limited, ’fills in’, undertaking security officer tasks Conducts staff interviews as part of the normal performance management process Diversity is important to Corps Security; we believe that each individual has unique talents to contribute to the business.
