Casual Event & Catering Staff – Benenden School
Benenden School is renowned for its stunning food and caters for over 700 students and staff three times a day. We provide high quality food for a range of events including banquets, afternoon teas, barbeques and picnics. The focus is always on quality, and everything is cooked using fresh, seasonal, nutritious, and locally sourced food.
These positions are responsible to the catering supervisors and event managers. No experience is required but you must be efficient and organised.
Job Description
To support the Catering and Events teams in delivering a high standard of service to students and customers, while ensuring efficient and smooth operation of the Catering department, Hemsted Park and car parking provision as may be required. To support the running of events across our commercial venues, providing a memorable experience for all who attend.
This adhoc role provides the opportunity to work across a number of different roles in support of the School. This may include supporting Catering, working in the Event bar, acting as a member of the Front of House Team, or greeting and assisting our guests as first point of contact as a Car Park Marshall.

Benenden is one of the leading day and boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 190 of those in the Sixth Form. We are an ambitious school, with recent developments including a state-of-the-art Science Centre and All-Weather Sports Pitch, and our new world-class Centenary Hall and Music School opened in June 2022.
Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School's leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
