Looking for a teaching role thats a bit different from the usual classroom setting? This unique position is based inside Heathrows Terminal 5, where youll combine teaching with hands-on support in the workplace. Youll be working with young people on a Supported Internship programme. They already have placements within the airport, so your role is to deliver functional skills (maths, English, and employability) and then support them directly in their job roles, helping them succeed day to day. What youll be doing: Delivering classroom sessions in maths, English, and employability Supporting young people while theyre working in Heathrow Terminal 5, breaking down tasks, boosting confidence, and helping them develop independence Working with managers and colleagues in the airport to ensure the right support and reasonable adjustments are in place Providing updates to families and the programme team to track progress and celebrate achievements About You You will need either: A teaching qualification at Level 5 or above OR A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) with experience delivering functional skills (maths and English) Youll enjoy working both in a classroom and directly alongside young people in the workplace Most importantly, youll have the passion to help young people grow, gain confidence, and move into meaningful employment Why this role is different This isnt a standard teaching role.
