A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join a leading M&E contractor delivering projects ranging from £50,000 to £5 million. With a strong reputation in the industry and a healthy pipeline of major commercial schemes, this is an exciting chance for an ambitious estimator to play a key role in high-value projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work on varied M&E projects across multiple sectors, where you'll be given the autonomy to manage your own workload while contributing to the success of a well-established contractor with long-term career progression on offer.
Your Role as an Electrical Estimator will include:
Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical packages on projects ranging from £50k to £5m
Producing tenders, analysing drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure commercially viable and compliant bids
Liaising with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure project requirements are fully understood
Taking ownership of the estimating process and working closely with the wider pre-construction and project delivery teams
The successful Electrical Estimator will have:
Proven experience as an Estimator within the electrical contracting / building services sector (commercial focus essential)
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and current industry regulations
Excellent organisational and communication skills with confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders
