The Role
We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Headteacher to lead our school into its next exciting chapter. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of special education and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement while ensuring that the wellbeing and progress of every learner remains at the heart of all decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and direction across the school, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes.
* Champion a culture of inclusion, respect, and high expectations for all pupils and staff.
* Lead, inspire, and develop a committed multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
* Manage the school's performance, resources, and finances effectively and transparently.
* Work in partnership with parents, carers, governors, local authorities, and external professionals to support each pupil's holistic development.
* Ensure that statutory safeguarding, SEND, and educational standards are consistently met and exceeded.
About You
You will be:
* An experienced senior leader with a proven record of success in SEN or inclusive education.
* Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs.
* Skilled in building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and staff.
* Knowledgeable about current educational policy, SEND legislation, and best practice.
