Join our growing national Finance Function Support team, focusing on private businesses in the Southern region. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll support the wider team and assist Managers to effectively deliver work across a portfolio of SME corporate clients, focusing on annual compliance needs, applying UK GAAP (FRS 102 and FRS 105), and solving day to day issues clients face across a wide variety of industries.

This fast-growing team offers opportunities to develop skills in business development, coaching, and cross-service collaboration across the UK.

You'll make an impact by:

1. Playing vital part in shaping client success, driving team performance, and contributing to the growth of our Finance Function Support team across the Northern region.
2. Playing a vital part in shaping client success, driving team performance, and contributing to the growth of our Finance Function Support team across the Southern region.
3. Support Managers in delivering a premium service and high-quality outcomes to our SME clients
4. Work within agreed budgets, contributing to job profitability and efficient delivery
5. Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing project timelines, billing, and client care
6. Build strong, trusted relationships and act as a key point of contact
7. Proactively identify and communicate issues, offering practical solutions
8. Lead and supervise assignments when required, ensuring smooth execution
9. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback
10. Collaborate with audit and tax teams to meet deadlines and resolve key issues
11. Develop knowledge of our specialist services and identify opportunities to add value
12. Stay up to date with technical developments and meet training requirements

13. ACA qualified or equivalent.
14. UK GAAP experience – FRS 102 and FRS 105.
15. Experience of working in a professional practice, ideally in an equivalent accounting advisory team.
16. A strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
