Job Description
Business Development & Sales
3. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in target markets requiring our client's solutions.
4. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market-share goals.
5. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
6. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
7. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close deals while ensuring profitability.
Client Relationship Management
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and potential clients.
9. Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical questions, and product requirements.
10. Collaborate with internal teams (production, design, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution and on-time delivery.
11. Follow up on customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for up selling or cross-selling.
Product & Market Expertise
12. Develop a deep understanding of our client's technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, and applications.
13. Provide market feedback to the product development team to support innovation and improved solutions.
14. Stay informed on regulatory requirements, labelling standards, and industry advancements.
Reporting & Strategy
15. Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market forecasts.
16. Contribute to annual sales planning, budgeting, and strategic business initiatives.
17. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking sessions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
18. Experience in sales or business development, ideally within labels, packaging, printing, or related industries.
19. Strong understanding of label manufacturing, materials, or packaging workflows
20. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
21. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
22. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
23. Willingness to travel
