Job Overview
Support Workers for Chorley Domiciliary Service – Adult Social Care at Lancashire County Council. This Position is Permanent, Part Time, 20 hours per week. Salary is £23,114–£23,893 per annum (full‑time equivalent, paid pro‑rata).
Key Information
* Location: Chorley, Euxton and Coppull areas
* Hours: 20, 25, 30, 32 or 37 hours per week, including sleep‑in and weekend work
* Pay: 33% increment for weekend work, 50% for Bank Holidays, £40.76 sleep‑in allowance
* International sponsorship: This role is not open to international sponsorship
Responsibilities
You will be welcomed into people's homes and support their day‑to‑day routine. Responsibilities include providing personal care, household chores, finances, medication management and other needs. You will also support service users to participate in community activities, maintain their spirits and increase their independence.
