With the emphasis firmly on grounds care machinery, you will develop skills and proficiency in a wide range of technical areas, from routine maintenance and servicing through to complex component overhauls utilising the very latest John Deere diagnostic equipment.\nThe pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed. - Performing basic service tasks & developing skills in removal and reconditioning of components\n- Progressing to perform more complex service & repair tasks, both at the dealership & out in the field\n- Assisting qualified Technicians as needed\n- Reporting weekly to a mentor or Service Manager regarding ongoing activities and progression\n- Maintaining the condition of inventory, tools & equipment\n- Following all safety rules and regulations\n\nLand-Based Service Engineering Technician - Level 3\n\nSCQF's Numeracy, ICT, Problem Solving, Working with others & Communication (if GCSE, SCQF's or equivalent A-C/9-4 is not already achieved) Vehicles are highly complex, and whilst no formal qualifications are required, you must be literate and numerate, with a desire to learn, and a genuine interest in vehicle technology.\nYou should be;\nTechnically minded, practical, logical, able to listen, follow instructions and be willing to study\nAble to work as part of a busy, fast moving team\n\nSCQF Nat 5's desirable. \n\nLet the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
