About the Role
A leading clean‑energy technology company is expanding and seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process excellence across high‑value, next‑generation energy products. Key Responsibilities
* Lead manufacturing process development and optimisation initiatives
* Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality
* Use analytical tools such as value stream mapping and cycle time analysis
* Support technology transfer activities including FAT, documentation, training and partner engagement
* Apply SPC techniques (control charts, Cp/Cpk, gauge R&R) and conduct risk assessments (PFMEA, DFM/A, DRBFM)
* Provide technical leadership and coach others in structured problem‑solving
* Advise on long‑term manufacturing strategies and best practices
Requirements
* Degree in Chemical, Process, Manufacturing or similar engineering discipline
* Strong experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment
* Practical expertise in at least one relevant industrial process, e.g.:
o Heat treatment
o Deposition techniques (e.g. screen printing)
o Laser ablation or welding
o Ceramics processing
* Good understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and SPC tools
* Clear communicator with a mindset for innovation and mentoring
* Eligible to work on‑site (no hybrid/remote options for this position)
Desirable Skills
* Experience in high‑tech, energy, materials, automotive, defence or electronics manufacturing
* Prior involvement in scaling new processes or technology transfer
* Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)
* Experience with sustainability or cost‑reduction programmes
