We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Chinese Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations of a busy, high-volume restaurant in Central London. This is a key leadership role for a chef with a strong background in authentic Chinese cuisine and proven experience in top-tier restaurant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day service
Deliver authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine with consistency
Manage and train kitchen teams, fostering a positive and disciplined work environment
Oversee menu development, food costing, and supplier management
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
Maintain high standards of presentation, taste, and portion control
Work closely with management to drive performance and profitability
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable Chinese restaurant in London
Strong experience in high-volume kitchen operations
In-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine, techniques, and ingredients
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong understanding of kitchen financials, food cost control, and stock management
