Optical Systems Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge
Following continued growth, a Medical Devices organisation is currently recruiting for someone to join the team and focus on optical systems design.
Based in Cambridge, working with mechanical, electronics, and software engineers to develop innovative medical devices that improve lives.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an optical physicist, optical engineer, optical systems engineer, or in a similar role involving optical systems design, prototyping, and testing of medical devices.
Proficiency in optical design tools such as Zemax, Code-V, OSLO, FRED, or similar is required.
Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration and project updates.
We welcome applicants with a range of experience levels, from PhD graduates to those with 15-20 years of industry experience.
A degree in a relevant subject is required; master's or PhD qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
