Welder / Fabricator
Location: Honiton
Pay: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their busy factory team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and proactive in supporting welding and fabrication requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* General fabrication: cutting, drilling, sawing, and metal work
* Reading and working from drawings accurately
* Operating equipment safely and following procedures
* Keeping work areas clean and safe
* Reporting defects promptly
* Supporting other teams when required
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 1 year TIG welding experience
* Competent in TIG/MIG welding and sheet metal work
* Ability to read machine drawings accurately
* Good communication and attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Experience with hand tools is an advantage
