We are currently recruiting 2 x 24-hour Level 2 Care and Support Workers to join Hafan y Waun Residential Care Home, Aberystwyth, on a permanent basis. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. As long as you have kindness, patience, respect, and resilience — the rest we can teach you!
About the role
No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. Your duties may include:
* Providing total care to clients according to care plans
* Offering emotional support and reassurance, especially during changes or family crises
* Administering prescribed medication, including controlled drugs, following policy and procedure
* Escorting clients on outings, such as leisure trips
* Completing daily records
* Carrying out cleaning, laundry, and dining room service
