Previous experience in an SEN environment is desirable, but excellent teaching skills, motivation, personal qualities, and resilience are equally important.
Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative teaching style, motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.
Qualifications required
* Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent); Degree or equivalent.
* PGCE or equivalent. QTS/ QTLS preferred.
About us
Acorn Park is a school for 98 pupils diagnosed with Autism. We offer two curriculum pathways – Formal and Semi-formal. Our Complex Needs pupils are on the Semi-formal Pathway, highly personalised according to their EHCP. We have a mix of Day and Residential pupils, with 8 co-located pupil homes on our 30-acre site in rural Norfolk. Facilities include a Forest School, Animal Care Farm, play areas, a sports hall, and sensory rooms.
