We're looking for someone to step into a key operational role, working alongside the Managing Director to take ownership of daily activities and help drive our next stage of growth. You'll play a hands-on part in keeping projects running smoothly and clients happy. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Scheduling and coordinating engineers for installation and maintenance work
2. Managing tools, vans, materials, and supplier relationships
3. Tracking project progress and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
4. Creating or streamlining internal systems (job sheets, checklists, compliance workflows)
5. Liaising with clients to arrange site access, sign-offs, and follow-up on snagging
6. Assisting with quotes and basic pricing tasks when needed
7. Supporting general HR/admin functions (timesheets, H&S logs, training renewals)
8. Ordering and scheduling materials, and managing inventory levels
9. Maintaining training records and ensuring engineering compliance
10. Overseeing Health & Safety compliance across operations
About You
Essential Requirements:
11. Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, scheduling, or logistics (telecoms, construction, or electrical trades preferred)
12. Excellent organisational and communication skills
13. Comfortable working in a small team with hands-on responsibility
14. Confident with digital tools - spreadsheets, workflow software, Google/Office suite
15. Experience dealing with engineers, suppliers, and clients directly
16. Calm under pressure, solution-focused, and able to get things done
Bonus if you have:
17. Experience in telecoms, data cabling, or network infrastructure
18. Familiarity with job management platforms (e.g. SimPRO, Joblogic, Workpal, BigChange)
19. Background in Health & Safety, ISO standards, or compliance processes
