Salary: £24,434.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification)
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for providing sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in Southeast England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24/7 with rotating shifts, covering days and nights as required.
We have an opportunity for a Driver to join our team. This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week, requiring flexible shift coverage.
Duties of This Role Include
* Providing reliable and courteous delivery/pick-up services to CHG Hospital Decontamination customers, operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
* Assisting the production team with supporting duties to ensure smooth workflow.
* Performing daily vehicle inspections and preparing trip, accident, and incident reports as necessary.
* Carrying out minor vehicle maintenance tasks, including fueling and ensuring scheduled maintenance is completed.
* Providing additional services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation.
* Adhering to the driver’s handbook and maintaining the assigned vehicle(s), including cleaning inside and outside.
* Complying with all mandatory training requirements.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* A valid UK driving license with a clean record; annual DVLA license check required.
* Hold a clean B license for vans up to 3.5t.
* Good general education.
* Ability to undertake lifting duties.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
