Summary
SapioSciences is seeking a highly motivated and selfstarting SalesSolution Engineer (SSE). You will join a rapidly growing team thatbuilds on our recent customer wins. You will be based in our EMEAregion but support customer opportunitiesworldwide.
An experienced technical sales leaderyou will be confident in supporting solutions sales into the LifeSciences market. Ideally you will have deep knowledge of LIMS ELNand SDMS products and their application within the Laboratorysetting.
KeyResponsibilities
* Workclosely with the Business Development team worldwide to wincustomer accounts by technically demonstrating the value of oursolution
* Meticulously qualify deals from atechnical perspective and efficiently drive the sales cycleforward
* Communicating the Sapio Sciencestechnical value proposition clearly andconcisely
* Be able to confidently to demonstratethe Sapio Science solution and technical value proposition to andprospects
* Manage the creation of technicalproposals RFP responses and other necessary technical documentationto close a sale
* Understand each prospects goalsand challenges and be able to reflect them back into theorganization to ensure we deliver a successful solution and outcomefor all
* Work closely with your presalescolleagues to
* Create and maintain a set ofdemos (and related scripts) of our solution tailored for each ofthe target segments
* Build and maintain a set ofstandard technical RFP questions and associatedanswers
* Work closely with our Customer Successteam to ensure tight technical handover of customers intodeployment
* Work closely with Marketing andInside sales to support the education of prospective customers onthe Sapio Science technical valueproposition
* Build and maintain a thoroughunderstanding of the Sapio Science product set androadmap

EssentialExperience
* Severalyears of Life Sciences experience preferably introducing newscientific IT solutions.
* Several years ofexperience as a Sales SolutionEngineering
* Previous experience with eitherLIMS or ELN software
* Comfortable presenting thesolution to Clevel executives.
* Experience inquickly identifying client needs and intelligently positioningsolutions to address them leveraging team members to supportyou.
AdditionalRequirements
* A Mastersdegree or equivalent in Life Science (e.g. molecular biologychemistry)
* Excellent listening and presentationskills
* Ability to travel <20% of thetime to visit UK and European clientsites.
* Demonstrated success working responsiblyand effectively from a home office.
* Effectivetime management and prioritizationskills
* Ideally knowledge of one or more ofPython Webservices Statistics Scientific Software (bioinformaticscheminformatics etc)
* Experience with GLP GMPetc requirements a plus
* Ideally a secondlanguage (German French JapaneseKorean)
