Shunter Driver – Class 1 (HGV)Corby | Full-time, shift-based
A well-established manufacturing business in Corby is seeking an experienced Shunter Driver to support movements of raw materials and finished goods across multiple local sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Shunting trailers on/off bays and between nearby sites
* Operating a Terberg and Class 1 HGV
* Yard organisation, vehicle checks, and defect reporting
* Ensuring loads are secured and DVSA compliant
* Occasional warehouse/operational support when required
Requirements
* Class 1 HGV licence (minimum 2 years' experience)
* Terberg experience
* Valid CPC & Digi card
* Safety-first, reliable, and a strong team player
* Right to work in the UK
Shifts 3-week rotating pattern (days, afternoons, nights) – average 45 hours/week
Pay & Benefits
* £39,286 basic salary + overtime
* 33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)
* Pension, sick pay, free annual CPC training
