About the Role
As the Food Technology Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3-KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
* Create a safe and well-organised classroom environment that encourages practical learning.
* Assess pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement and development.
* Work collaboratively with department colleagues to contribute to a positive, supportive faculty culture.
* Uphold school policies and standards, maintaining excellent behaviour management.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds QTS or QTLS (applications from ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
* Has strong subject knowledge within Food Technology and wider D&T curriculum.
* Demonstrates high professional standards consistent with DfE expectations.
* Communicates with clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
* Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and the wider school community.
