Overview
GI Group are recruiting for 2 x 7.5T drivers for our client in Leeds who supply and deliver fresh & frozen foods across Yorkshire & the North. This is a temp to perm opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Conduct vehicle checks
* Deliver fresh & frozen food to customers (including popular UK restaurants)
* Deliveries using pallet truck with some handball
* Complete up to 15 deliveries per shift
* Prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met
Driver shifts, pay & benefits
* 48 hours per week (Including Saturday work)
* Job & Knock (Min 8 hours paid)
* 6 days / 4 days weekly rotation
* £14.79 per hour for all hours
* Pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay
Driver requirements
* Presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitude
* No more than 6 penalty points; no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT codes
* Valid, in-date Tachograph & CPC
* Good customer service skills
* At least 6 months driving experience
