You’ll be stepping into a maternity cover role from May, teaching History across KS3 and KS4 in a school that genuinely values curiosity, character, and community.

The role
You’ll be:
Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
Bringing the subject to life with engaging, thought-provoking lessons
Encouraging students to think critically about the past and its impact today
Supporting a culture where curiosity is welcomed and questions are encouraged
Playing a part in a wider school community that values character as much as achievement
What we’re looking for
UK QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching History at secondary level
Someone who can step in confidently and build strong relationships quickly
A teacher who cares about the bigger picture, not just exam results
Positive, adaptable, and ready to make an impact from day one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
