Responsibilities: As our new Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in enhancing our managed security services. You will: Conduct security audits and vulnerability scans of our clients' environments using industry-standard tools. Identify, document, and prioritize vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and compliance gaps. Support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments according to IASME and NCSC guidance. Maintain and distribute monthly vulnerability reports, ensuring all remediation actions are completed and verified. Additionally, you will: Remediate vulnerabilities using tools such as NinjaRMM, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, or other approved solutions. Implement best-practice hardening techniques across various platforms, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Linux, and firewalls. Collaborate with our Security Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent patching and configuration management. In terms of customer engagement, you will: Participate in customer meetings to present findings, advise on risk mitigation, and plan remediation efforts. Create and maintain project plans, change control records, and technical documentation. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear and trustworthy exchanges.
