The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated digital learning design professional, who will be responsible for the design, development, curation, production and delivery of a wide range of digital learning solutions as part of our apprenticeship, adult education and commercial training courses.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Design and Development:

* Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand their training needs and translate complex concepts into clear and concise learning objectives.
* Design and develop innovative and engaging learning experiences, leveraging a variety of instructional design methodologies and technologies, such as Canvas by Instructure.
* Create high-quality learning materials, including instructional text, assessments, interactive activities, and multimedia content.
* Develop and maintain a consistent brand and style guide for all learning materials.

Project Management:

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
* Coordinate with learning technologists and other team members to ensure smooth integration of technology and content.
* Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

* Review and edit learning materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
* Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks to ensure that all learning materials meet the highest standards.

Continuous Improvement:

* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and technology.
* Identify opportunities for improvement in the learning design process and propose innovative solutions.
* Contribute to the development of the team's knowledge base and share expertise with colleagues.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in instructional design and development, with a strong focus on adult learning principles.
* In-depth knowledge of instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE, SAM, or AGILE.
* Proficiency in using authoring tools, particularly Canvas by Instructure and Articulate 360.
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* A passion for learning and a desire to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Desired Skills and Experience:

* Experience in designing and developing apprenticeship and ASF courses.
* Experience in working with learning management systems (LMS).
* Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
* Experience in conducting needs assessments and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs.
