Job Summary
The Technical Records Administrator will be responsible for scanning of Airworthiness Documentation, filing of Airworthiness Records, inputting relevant data into the Rusada system to help maintain Aircraft Forecast Lists to enable continuous maintenance planning through the Aircraft Maintenance Program. To compliance check airworthiness records for completeness and validity through the Discrepancy Registers, completion of component changes linked to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, to work as a team within the technical records environment where supporting each other’s daily activities is the normal rather than the ad-hoc, participate in Team Meetings and share ideas on how to develop the technical records environment further, review KPIs with the Technical Records Team Leader to understand follow on actions for internal stakeholders. You will be closely linked to the Technical Records Team Leader to allow for training and development through the Technical Records Training Plan and will be subject to competency checks through regulatory requirements which will monitor knowledge, competency and training requirements.
The Technical Records Administrator will report to the Technical Records Team Leader and Continuing Airworthiness Manager (UK CAMO).
Respons. & areas
· Scanning of Work Packs into the digital Technical Records filing system
· Filing the Airworthiness Records into their perspective aircraft folders
· Managing the storage are for the Technical Records
· Inputting of Technical Logs into the Rusada Envision System
· Updating and recording the aircraft and component log cards from maintenance work packs.
· Collaborating with the Aberdeen Technical Records Administrator
· Monitoring the aircraft and maintenance records for compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Liaising with Type Engineers and maintenance personnel on issues related to the aircraft.
· Investigating and resolving records discrepancies arising.
· Collaborating with the CAMO team.
· Flexibility to cover weekends as required through an on call rotor supporting a 24-7 operation with technical records expertise.
Experience
· An enthusiastic individual wanting to expand their horizons into the rotary continuing airworthiness records.
· Previous CAMO experience would be beneficial.
· Aviation background an advantage especially within the Technical Records environment
· Excellent organisation skills
· An excellent communicator at all levels
· Excellent time management skills
· Demonstration through good examination results and/or career history
· Good analytical skills
Skills
· IT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office, Rusada Envision or similar).
· Languages: Professional level (writing, reading, speaking) of English.
· Understanding and complying with company procedures (regulatory, operational, quality, safety).
· The flexibility to travel to other locations where required.
