Premier Compliance UK Ltd is a nationwide specialist in fire doors, firestopping, ventilation and ductwork hygiene, holding leading certifications including BM Trada, IFC and BESA VHE.

The Role

The Operations Manager will be a driving force for growth and operational excellence, playing a critical role in leading teams, improving productivity, and delivering results. This role requires a highly ambitious, driven, and dynamic leader who can inspire others, make tough decisions, and ensure every part of the operation runs efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, Ensure field teams are motivated and productive, and the company consistently hits key performance targets. Acting as the bridge between field teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership, you will set high standards and hold people accountable while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Productivity & Performance Management

· - Drive a high-performance culture by setting ambitious targets and leading by example.

· - Investigate low productivity, identify root causes, and implement action plans to improve results.

· - Manage disciplinary processes firmly and fairly to address underperformance.

· - Monitor engineers' output, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across all sites.

· - Support and challenge Field Service Managers (FSMs) with clear objectives and regular performance reviews.

1. Workforce & Resource Planning

· - Forecast labour requirements to meet current and future demand.

· - Oversee recruitment to ensure the business has the right skills at the right time.

· - Ensure all projects are correctly staffed, meeting timelines without compromising quality.

1. Health, Safety & Compliance

· - Ensure the highest health and safety standards across the business.

· - Make sure return-to-work policies and procedures are followed.

· - Oversee company accreditations (ISO, IFC, BESA VHE) and support external audits.

1. KPI Management & Reporting

· - Establish, track, and regularly review KPIs for all departments.

· - Lead operational meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and set clear action plans.

· - Produce accurate, timely reports to inform senior management and strategic decisions.

1. Process Improvement & SOP Development

· - Develop/Improve and implement clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency and consistency.

· - Continuously improve processes, ensuring the business remains agile and scalable as it grows.

· - Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all teams.
