Salary: £180–£250 per day Temporary, full-time

Are you passionate about developing the next generation of health and social care professionals? A vibrant and inclusive South London FE college is seeking an enthusiastic Health & Social Care Lecturer to join their team from Easter.
This long‑term role will continue until the position is permanently filled. You will take on full teaching responsibilities across Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a practical, career‑focused Further Education environment.
What you will be doing
* Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care pathways
* Teach core units such as human lifespan development, safeguarding, equality & diversity, and working in health & social care
* Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson resources, and assessments
* Support learners with coursework, portfolios, and exam preparation
* Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate learner achievement
* Contribute to the wider curriculum and work collaboratively with the department
What we are looking for
* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering Health & Social Care within FE or KS5
* Confident classroom and behaviour management
* A supportive, collaborative approach and commitment to learner success
