This role is designed to aid the growth of sales through our online and wholesale business, and reports directly to the general manager. Experience within buying and merchandising is not crucial at this stage as we see this as a development role for the right candidate to grow and develop within the overall department.

The core function is to assist the office team with reports, orders, contacting customers, assisting with procuring products and the day to day management of the department. The role will help to generate reports that give visibility to senior management on the targeted sales within Online and wholesale. Helps to implement robust reconciliation processes ensuring accuracy in reporting. Helps to conclude monthly, quarterly and annual business reports.


Wholesale

* Helps to maintain the smooth running of our online and wholesale business by assisting the merchandiser across all aspects of the role.
* Helps to update Reports: weekly sales overview, stock shortages, supplier delays and issues.
* Starts to develop a rapport with wholesale customers to encourage future sales.
* Ad hoc web assistance to keep the website updated; changing items, pricing, pictures and layouts as needed.
* Pricing - Updating the systems with price corrections, any silent markdowns or discounts whilst checking within the team that margin erosion is in line with budget.
* Helps to update the system in place to manage any markdowns or terminal stock under the guidance of the Operations and Merchandise manager.
* Wholesale Shipping has the potential to help in managing the wholesale customer shipments end to end and growing the business in line with the operation and merchandising manager's vision.
* Working alongside the merchandiser to grow the e-commerce business.
* Actively ensures all aspects of the website are correct from pricing through to images.


Tasks

* Help to maintain all product information on cyber-till.
* Help to raise purchase orders (including all supporting documents) and ensure they are signed and emailed /couriered to suppliers/customers in a timely manner.
* Admin support to help with the general running of the department as necessary.
* Updating purchase orders with changes as necessary.
* Shipping of goods direct to customers and stores
* Supporting with stocktaking functions
* Answering customer and store queries in a timely manner
