Job Role: Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant
The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines, including personal care and feeding.
The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months of experience in care and a compassionate attitude.
They will help with daily care tasks and are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of nursing staff alongside other healthcare assistants.
Your duties may include:
* Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
* Serving food or assisting with eating
* Making and changing beds
* Turning bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores
* Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
* Helping patients move around
* Assisting with toileting and collecting bedpans
* Keeping the ward or homes tidy
* Managing supplies and equipment
Your daily tasks may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
