Our PMO Northwest team seeks to expand its Controls community by welcoming passionate candidates across all professional and managerial grades. Candidates will support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and foster our values, especially "Bringing out the best in Everyone."
With growth in the region, including new major programmes and clients, we seek flexible, mobile Planning, Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to deliver services locally. Travel within the Northwest region is required and can be discussed during recruitment. Opportunities include sectors such as Power, Water, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Local Authority, and Shipyards.
You will work on high-profile infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis, either as part of a team or as the primary client contact. Responsibilities include developing work breakdown structures, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods, producing control reports, and offering performance insights.
Required experience includes working in a project controls environment within sectors like Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water/Utilities, and proficiency in Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, or PMO. Qualifications should include:
1. A relevant degree with some project control experience.
2. Experience managing projects, programmes, or portfolios.
3. Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Office.
4. Autonomy, teamwork, strong time management, and communication skills.
5. Knowledge of scheduling principles and schedule construction.
6. Ability to ensure schedule quality and monitor project progress effectively.
7. Ownership of fostering a positive culture in Schedule Management.
