We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and domestic flooring. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Sustainable Flooring Ltd will provide a work vehicle. our work is in the North West Manchester area.
Duties
* Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
* Install various types of flooring including, laminate, carpet, and vinyl
* Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and repairing as necessary
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations
* Follow schematics and project plans to ensure accurate installation
* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the installation process
* Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements
* Proven experience in cap n cove system of installation
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation
* Strong skills with an understanding of floor installing techniques
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
* Experience in construction drawings is an advantage but not essential
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
* stamina to carry out a job to a very good standard
