Are you passionate about film, media production, and empowering the next generation of creatives? We're looking for a dynamic and creative Media Teacher to join our team in Farnham and inspire learners through engaging, industry-relevant teaching.
About the Role
As a Media Teacher, you'll deliver our UAL Creative Media qualifications with a focus on Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas. You'll play a key role in preparing students for careers in the creative industries or progression to university through practical, purposeful lessons that mirror the media landscape.
You'll be part of a collaborative and experienced team, working with students who are eager to learn and develop their technical skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver creative and engaging lessons across Level 2 and 3 media qualifications
* Use your industry experience to bring lessons to life through hands-on project work
* Grade student projects and support with internal verification processes
* Help students build real-world skills for the workplace or higher education
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving classroom culture
What You'll Need:
* A professional qualification and/or degree in Media, Film Production, or a related subject
* Industry experience in film, media, or content creation
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud - particularly Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects
* Familiarity with DSLR cameras and studio lighting (advantageous)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate learners
* Teaching experience or a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
