Cell Manufacturing Leader
Bristol location
£55,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and benefits
A Cell Manufacturing Leader is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who are at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will report into the Production Manager and ensure that you own and manage a Manufacturing cell(s) to meet and continually improve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery KPI’s.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of up to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Overview of the Cell Manufacturing Leader role:
* Manage the day-to-day Manufacturing activities from component receipt to assembly completion through the Cell teams (Team Leader, Cell Manufacturing Engineer, Coordinators and Operators).
* Ensure capacity planning is in line with production schedules.
* Create and communicate recovery plans where components/products do not meet promise dates.
* Develop a culture of continues improvement through all levels of the Cell.
Key skills and qualifications required for the Cell Manufacturing Leader role:
* A number of years’ experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
* Significant experience in multi-disciplined manufacturing environment.
* A demonstrated history of leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, performance management and recruitment.
* Possess a strong track record of delivering results in an operational environment as well as proven experience implementing Lean Principles.
