An exciting opportunity to work within the Trust Transport Department as required. The driver is responsible for driving, service users/patients to A&E and outpatient departments, transferring patients between different Mersey Care units including high secure units, and transporting service users/patients to hospitals and courts nationwide. The role also involves transporting staff, goods, and trust visitors utilizing appropriate trust vehicles.
The successful candidate must have a D1 driver's license and CPC qualification.

Key responsibilities include transporting service users between units, hospitals, courts, and other locations nationwide; participating in mandatory training; adhering to trust procedures; maintaining vehicles; accurate record-keeping; reporting incidents; operating GPS systems; assisting patients and staff; securing wheelchairs; liaising with staff; ensuring safe transportation of oxygen; cleaning spillages; managing vehicle toilets; working on an ‘On call’ basis to ensure 24-hour transport coverage.
