Adult and Community Learning Tutors Location: Dudley Borough There are two roles available. One Full Time at 37 hours and one Part Time of 18.5 hours. The Adult and Community Learning (ACL) Service offers high‑quality learning opportunities for adults and families across Dudley. We provide a wide range of courses, including English, Maths, ESOL, ICT, Health and Wellbeing, and Family Learning, delivered in our three neighbourhood learning centres and various community venues. We are currently seeking ACL tutors for our Tailored Learning Project : We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for supporting others with their emotional, physical and mental health. A strong understanding of these areas, combined with the ability to empathise, motivate, and build confidence, is essential to making a positive impact in this role. This position offers the chance to work closely with the Curriculum Team to co‑design and deliver a vibrant, responsive curriculum that meets local needs. Key responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, learner-focused sessions Support learners to progress and achieve Collaborate with colleagues to design an innovative curriculum Teach in a range of community venues. Essential criteria: A recognised teaching qualification Experience working with adult learners Knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework, RARPA, and quality assurance processes Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills Strong ICT skills At ACL, we pride ourselves on our caring, supportive, and inclusive approach.
