We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen understanding of food safety and drink preparation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. Your role will involve mixing and serving drinks, ensuring cleanliness, and managing the bar area efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
* Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly manner.
* Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
* Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
* Uphold high standards of customer service while managing time effectively during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
* Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills to enhance guest experiences.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
