An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Advanced Health Care Assistant with knowledge and skills to join our Endoscopy team.
As a cross-site service, our Endoscopy teams provide both therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopy procedures within our joint advisory group accredited services.
We pride ourselves on providing high standards of care and supporting our patients through their journey in Endoscopy.
Our friendly Endoscopy Unit at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby is busy, friendly and open seven days a week.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a keen and motivated Advanced Health Care Assistant to join our expanding dynamic team within the Endoscopy service.
This is an exciting and developing role involving assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, supporting in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures and investigations.
Endoscopy is a seven-day service and supports patients requiring an emergency endoscopy through our out-of-hours on-call service. Experience in endoscopy is essential.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Hold NVQ level 2 or equivalent
* Have experience in Endoscopy and decontamination of endoscopic equipment
* Evidence of recent study / development
* Competency in Cannulation and venipuncture
Occupational Experience
* Experience of working in a health / social care setting
* Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy experience
