Head of Corporate Development - London Competitive Salary Corporate Development is critical to assisting Aviva deliver on its strategy and equity story, the team working within this area is a central part of the newly streamlined Aviva Group Centre. It acts as a centre of expertise, providing deep knowledge and extensive capability in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), capital market advice / corporate finance, defence and optimizing strategic partnerships. You will need to be capable of working internationally with ease and be sensitive to cultural and business differences globally. A bit about the job: This role is key to our business as you lead on M&A projects and work with the Group M&A Director to deliver on sophisticated and high-profile situations. You will contribute to the Aviva's group strategic activity, enable decisions to be robustly challenged and assist in implementing pivotal initiatives. For this role it is essential you have good project management skills, with proven ability to manage workloads and deliver to deadlines. You will be comfortable working in an environment which is at times difficult and pressurized and have good knowledge of Regulation and Compliance - competent in risk management.
