About the opportunity:
We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, Blue Star Business Solutions, an established and reputable financial services provider specialising in asset finance and commercial loans for UK businesses. As they continue to grow, we are seeking an ambitious Marketing Executive to join their friendly and supportive sales team based in Basingstoke.

Working closely with the Director and Sales Team, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering engaging campaigns that bring the Bluestar brand to life across multiple channels.
You’ll be responsible for the digital marketing output and manage everything from social media and email campaigns to design and creative projects, branding, and merchandise. It’s a varied role that blends traditional and digital marketing – perfect for a proactive, ideas-driven marketer who enjoys working on a mix of creative and hands-on tasks.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and deliver the digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms
2. Creating engaging designs and marketing materials using tools like Canva.
3. Planning, executing, and tracking email and website campaigns.
4. Managing content across social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
5. Coordinating branding projects and promotional merchandise.
6. Organising and sending mail shots to clients and prospects.
7. Using AI and creative tools to enhance marketing efficiency.
8. Ensuring all activity reflects Bluestar’s brand and values.
9. Keeping accurate records of marketing activity and outcomes.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
10. A postgraduate qualification in marketing or a related field.
11. Experience with design tools such as Canva.
12. Knowledge of social media marketing and content creation.
13. Experience managing email and website campaigns.
14. Familiarity with tools such as Zolo (or similar mail shot platforms).
15. A creative mindset with great attention to detail.
16. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
17. Confident using Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.
18. A team player who’s motivated, curious, and keen to learn
In return we are offering:
19. A competitive basic salary of £27,000 – £30,000, dependent on experience.
