This job role can be based in Bournemouth, Exeter Southampton or Plymouth, Onsite (5 days office based). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance. What you'll be doing
Responsibilities
* Accountable: Establishes technical objectives and delegates responsibilities.
* Leadership: Influences a significant part of own organisation and influences customers/suppliers and industry at a senior management level (e.g. around resourcing of delivery teams and technical direction of work).
* Leadership: Directs work resourcing, owns site issues and resolution of problems.
* Leadership: Performs technical coaching and mentoring, Installation in compliance with the UK Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and associated regulations to ensure the site provides a system to support the availability requirements of the equipment.
* Upgrade and decommission of Mechanical & Electrical equipment.
* Perform ongoing maintenance and repair of Mechanical & Electrical equipment installed on GSE sites. This includes reactive repair and ensuring compliance to the PPM requirements for each Mechanical & Electrical asset of the company.
* Identification and repair of any faults shown during a planned maintenance.
* Knowledge of Transmission Network and management platforms.
* Network installation, integration, and testing.
* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work with stakeholders to clearly capture requirements.
* Good relationship management skills with a dedicated and positive attitude.
