Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
* Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively
* Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
* Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests
* Supervise junior staff or apprentices as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment
* Utilise logic controllers for troubleshooting automated systems
Skills
* Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate team members
* Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation
* Skilled in welding techniques and practices
* Comprehensive mechanical knowledge across various systems
