Role Summary:
RIG is seeking a motivated Weighbridge / Admin Clerk to oversee our daily activities in the weighbridge office at our site in Scorrier. The main duties in this role is to maximise efficiency of directing traffic coming onto site, operating the weighbridge, checking incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site licence and permitted waste types and ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to, raising sales invoices and positively impacting our customers. In addition to sales ledger / credit control activities, the role will also cover a broad range of site administration functions including raising purchase orders, time sheets and data entry into the company's waste logic and accounting systems.
The ideal candidate should possess a mix of data entry, organisational and communication skills, enabling them to support a cross section of business activities. Since there are a lot of moving parts, you must have great organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as the ability to multitask. The successful applicant will be adept at collaborating with different teams within the company. Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and clients on behalf of the Group.
* Maintaining trust and confidence when dealing with sensitive information.
* Inbox management for the Group, ensuring items for action are effectively recorded, prioritised, and progressed as necessary.
* Answering phone calls on behalf of the Group, dealing with sales enquiries, setting up new customer accounts, credit control procedures, raising purchase orders, taking notes and making entries into the accounts system where necessary.
* Timesheets, holidays and sickness for the site operators, ensuring that entries are kept up to date.
* Provide administrative support to the Site Manager, e.g. meeting preparation, taking minutes, and action tracking.
* Assisting the Directors with progressing tasks to ensure that strategic goals and objectives are achieved.
* Work collaboratively with the team to cover all priority work streams.
* Accurately gathering data from Waste Logics to provide information regarding sales and support Environmental Agency returns and reports.
* Attending management and other meetings/workshops as required feeding back to the team and management.
* Embrace continuous improvement, using own initiative to find new and innovative ways of working to increase the effectiveness of the site and the team.

* Proficiency with business management systems
* Proficient in simple maths, computer skills and maintain product and price lists

Hours:
