We are seeking an experienced HR leader to join a public sector organisation on an interim basis to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all people-related services. This role is pivotal in driving a people-first culture, ensuring staff feel valued, empowered, and supported. If you are available immediately or from January 2026, this is a fantastic opportunity.
Your new role
This is a high-impact interim role requiring resilience, strategic thinking, and hands-on leadership. Key focus areas include:
1. Lead and inspire the HR team, fostering collaboration and service excellence.
2. Oversee delivery of core HR services across the employee lifecycle.
3. Drive organisational development and workforce planning initiatives.
4. Champion CPD strategy to support career progression and leadership development.
5. Ensurepliance with employment law, safeguarding, and audit standards.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Proven senior HR leadership experience
7. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HRpliance frameworks.
8. Skilled in team leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
9. CIPD Level 7 preferred.
10. Confident in navigatingplexity and delivering results at pace.
