Role: iOS Developer
Location: London, UK
Role Overview
Join the XDP business unit at Barclays to lead the integration of advanced security and identity solutions within our iOS ecosystem. As an iOS Security Developer/Engineer, you will bridge the gap between high-level cryptography and native mobile development. You will play a pivotal role in implementing the client-side protocols that protect millions of customers, focusing on the seamless integration of Ping/ForgeRock SDKs and hardware-level security.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* SDK Integration: Support the integration of Ping/ForgeRock SDKs into various mobile applications, managing the specific nuances of each app’s architecture.
* Cryptography Implementation: Implement client-side Cryptography Protocols on iOS based on CISO specifications, focusing on execution rather than design.
* Secure Prototyping: Build secure demonstration versions of mobile apps within the “ACME Bank” fake environment to validate new security features.
* Strategic Input (VP Level): Help steer the mobile functionality of the CIAM platform and provide subject matter expertise to broader engineering teams.
Technical Requirements
* Core iOS: Deep expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
* Mobile Security: Proven experience with the Secure Enclave, FaceID/TouchID, and creating/storing security keys within the iOS Keychain.
* Authentication: Strong experience with mobile authentication SDKs (e.g., Ping, ForgeRock, Auth0, Okta, or CyberArk).
* Environment: Experience in large, regulated enterprises or Tier-1 banks is highly preferred.
