Overview
Senior Content Marketer (AI-Native) | Part-Time circa 2 days per week| Hybrid/London Bridge | Employed or Freelance
We're looking for a Senior Content Marketer to own and elevate our content presence across channels - bringing strategic thinking, editorial craft, and AI-powered execution.
This isn't a brief-taker role. You'll shape how we show up, what we say, and how content drives commercial outcomes. You'll use AI as a core part of your workflow to move quickly, work intelligently, and maximise impact, while maintaining a high editorial bar.
This role is flexible by design. We're open to conversations about employed or freelance arrangements, number of days (circa 2 days per week as a guide), and rate/salary depending on experience.
The role
You'll take ownership of our content ecosystem, from channel strategy to performance optimisation, ensuring everything we publish is intentional, high-quality, and commercially aligned.
You'll work closely with marketing and commercial leadership to ensure content supports brand visibility, pipeline generation, and long-term growth.
This is a hands-on senior role for someone who can both define the strategy and execute at pace.
Key Responsibilities
* Own channel strategy and execution
* Develop and execute channel strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram and relevant platforms — deciding what we publish, why it matters, and how we improve it.
* Lead our newsletter programme
* Set editorial direction, write and build campaigns, manage distribution, and analyse performance to continuously refine approach.
* Manage the blog as a strategic asset
* Commission, write, edit, publish and optimise content that serves both human readers and search visibility.
* Drive SEO & GEO strategy
* Ensure content earns discoverability in both traditional search and AI-driven search environments, applying strong SEO fundamentals and emerging Generative Engine Optimisation principles.
* Build a content repurposing system
* Extract maximum value from every piece of content, turning one asset into multiple high-performing outputs across channels.
* Use AI as a core workflow tool
* Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or similar to accelerate drafting, editing, repurposing and optimisation — without compromising quality or originality.
* Track and improve performance
* Own reporting, translate data into insight, and make clear, practical recommendations that improve results over time.
* Collaborate cross-functionally
* Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to support campaigns, launches, and live moments.
You should apply if you:
* Have significant experience in a senior content marketing role, with ownership of channels or a content function.
* Combine strategic instincts with strong hands-on copywriting and editorial skills.
* Are genuinely AI-native and have a clear perspective on how AI is reshaping content and search.
* Have strong command of SEO fundamentals and a working understanding of GEO.
* Are comfortable using data to shape editorial and strategic decisions.
* Are highly organised, proactive, and delivery-focused.
* Enjoy autonomy and accountability in equal measure.
It would be a bonus if you:
* Have HubSpot or CRM experience.
* Have worked in the events industry, B2B marketplaces, or high-growth environments.
* Have experience in fast-paced teams, agencies, or scale-ups.
* Have supported content around events, launches, or live campaigns.
What's on offer:
* Flexible structure: employed or freelance engagement
* Part-time hours (circa 2 days per week, open to discussion)
* Competitive salary or day rate dependent on experience
* Hybrid working — minimum 1 day per week from our London Bridge office
* High-autonomy role with real ownership
* Opportunity to shape content strategy in an AI-forward environment
* Collaborative, execution-led culture with strong commercial alignment
Logistics
This is a hybrid role. You'll be required to work at least one day per week from our London Bridge office, with flexibility around additional days.
We are open to conversations around working pattern, structure, and compensation. If the scope excites you but you'd like to explore how it could work, we welcome a conversation.
