As a Trainee Sales Team Leader, you will work closely with the Directors and receive dedicated mentorship to develop your leadership skills. You will lead and motivate a small sales team, driving performance and fostering a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their leadership career in a supportive and fast-paced setting, however, will still involve the day-to-day sales duties in order to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Support, mentor and motivate a small team of sales executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Drive sales performance through effective goal-setting, coaching and performance monitoring.
Develop your own sales pipeline, leading by example
Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for your team.
Monitor and report on sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Work closely with the Directors to implement strategic sales initiatives and contribute to business growth.
Support key client relationships and assist in identifying new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience within a B2B setting is ESSENTIAL
A strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to coach others.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ambition and eagerness to step into a leadership role.
Previous experience mentoring or supporting colleagues is a plus.
Adaptability and willingness to learn under close mentorship
