Were exclusively partnering with a fast-growing SME to recruit a Financial Controller a hands-on role with genuine business partnering across all areas of the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact, managing a small team and working closely with the CFO to influence decisions and shape the future of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, board packs and group reporting
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements across multiple international jurisdictions
Manage annual audit processes and statutory reporting
Business partner with Heads of Departments to drive performance and monitor overheads, profitability, and working capital
Maintain cash flow forecast and weekly trading insights
Provide clear, actionable analysis on sales performance and international FX exposure
Manage and mentor a small but capable team (AP, AR, Management Accountant)
Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on process optimisation
Financial systems and drive process improvements across ERP and related platforms
Maintain strong financial controls, including reconciliations and accurate stock reporting
Ensure effective management of retail and online revenue streams
Play a key role in system development and integration projects
Our client is keen to attract a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with demonstratable experience in a Finance Manager or Controller role within retail, e-commerce, or FMCG where the business has a UK and non UK footprint. Its likely your experience will have been gained within an SME, or high growth business setting. You will be comfortable, managing and developing teams and processes and have a desire to get in to the detail where needed. Other helpful attributes will include experience in international accounting and multi-currency operations, strong Excel and ERP knowledge and the ability to communicate with key stakeholders across the business.
